One component in this herbal blend is Boldo leaves. They are described as a seasoning product with a warm, spicy taste. Grown in Chile and Peru, the Boldo tree is also cultivated in the Mediterranean area and on the American west coast. In the Mediterranean area, Boldo leaves are known to have physiological effects such as the secretion of gastric juices. The infusion also shows an anti-oxidant effect.
Ingredients Cinnamon bark, boldo leaves, spearmint leaves, orange peels, black tea leaves, chamomile flowers, mallow flowers.
Water Temperature: 212 °F or 100 °C
Steeping time: 5 - 10 minutes
Suggested serving size: 1 teaspoon/250ml or 8oz
